Gorillaz will follow up their Splendour set with headline tour dates in Sydney and Melbourne. When Gorillaz were announced as Splendour in the Grass headliners a frenzy of excitement ensued. And believe me, after they’ve heard ‘Feel Good Inc.’ they will want to know more.Īll in all, this is an essential album for every record connoisseur’s bucket list. It’s the track that I show to people who haven’t dived too far into their sound but want to know more. Personally, I find this track representing all that Gorillaz are capable of showcasing in their records. The song itself transitions from funky and rhythmic to acoustic sounding with melodic vocals and then finally finds itself in a rap verse. The album was originally released in 2005, arguably one of the worst years for vinyl sales, thus, quantities were limited. During its first pressing on vinyl, copies of the album were pressed in a limited quantity, making this a relatively rare record to come across after its original release. Wikipedia classifies this album genre as Pop music, Alternative rock, Trip-hop, Electronica & Alternative hip hop, but personally, I think this album could fall under a minimum of 10 other genres. This album is beloved to music fans of all genres for its collective and eclectic sound. Vinyl Me, Please -the best damn record club- announced their April record of the month to be Demon Days.
